The complete solution for Manufacturing Industries

Whether you make to order or make for stock, manufacture in discrete quantities or in batches,  or  have a mixed manufacturing base this software will do the job for you.

PRODUCTION PLANNING can be based on any mix of machine cycle, stock level, sales demand. You can have discrete, fixed or variable batch sizes. You can include prototype and sample runs within you main schedule.

On the SHOP FLOOR you can have full or partial wip tracking; you can have have end to end or nominated process to end lot control with full traceability. You can have time recording per man per job.

At all times you will know the when, the where and how many of your production without having to go onto the shopfloor to find the widgets. You will be alerted to jobs running late.

The SALES ORDER module is very versatile handling discrete, and scheduled orders including automotive schedules, all being easily entered and maintained using one screen. Automotive schedules are enhanced by an automatic visual confirmation of balance feature and full reconciliation capability.

EDI  - Some companies, for example those in the Automotive industry, receive order data electronically and frequently  and this can change the demand and therefore manufacturing requirement from one day to the next. You can receive and load this data directly into the sales order module without keying. The EDI module automatically does a full validity check for each requirement and alerts the operator to any discrepancies. The whole operation is very quick taking only a few minutes to load all of your EDI schedules and call in data.

We aim to automate, as far as you will allow, the processes from receipt of order requirements to despatch of goods to the customer, including stock allocation, purchasing of tools and materials and production planning, allowing more time to be spent in managing the business rather than chasing the business. This also enables staff to be proactive rather than reactive  to customer and supplier problems.

ESTIMATING and COSTING are two sides of the same coin so that in addition to doing costing and estimating you can compare the costs of production against the estimate enabling you to see where your costs are not in alignment with what you thought they were. You can apply costs by time, by quantity, by weight or by any other quantifyable unit that you can define. You can apply cost parameters to any measurable quantity of parts so that you can see for example

  • the profitability of any customer or part or product group
  • the rolled up cost of production at any point in the process
  • the value of all your wip at stocktaking
  • the forecasted profit and cost breakdown of your sales budget

The Management Control Console is a push button tool that grabs and analyses data for you in real time so that you know what is happening in your business hour by hour or minute by minute. We will customise the console to your exact requirements. Examples of the sort of features that are usually included are

  • How much have we sold today/ this week/ this month/ this year (broken down by customer/ by product etc)
  • How much have we made
  • What is the order intake

So what about ERP/MRP/JIT etcetera. If the model is right - and ours is - these things are no more than concepts overlaid on top of the base system to make the software do things in the appropriate way.  This makes our  approach very flexible, so you can have different parts manufactured according to different production models and rule sets and within any production philosophy. So whether you want the suite tuned for ERP/MRP/JIT or anything else just ask.

The suite includes the following modules -

  • Estimating.
  • Quotations.
  • Sales Order Processing.
  • Inventory Management (Stock).
  • Production Planning.
  • Production Control.
  • Purchase Order Processing.
  • Despatch/Invoicing.
  • Costing.
  • Management Information.
  • Electronic Data Interchange.
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP/ERP)
